A few days into JC life already...still cant really describe how is it as the real lessons have not started yet, though from the stuff that teachers said I could more or less tell that we've got our work cut out for us for the year ahead.
Anyway, the other day I stayed up late just to watch the inaguration of Barack Obama. Was quite impressed with his speech, and really hope that he can find a peaceful means to solve the ongoing conflict. In light of the current economic crisis, the future of not only the united states, but the whole world would be in his hands. Makes me shudder to think how the decisions one person make could influence the world. Lets hope he could live up to the name of the 1st african-american president in us' history.
Look at this video. SDP secetray general Dr Chee Soon Juan's message to President Obama. I doubt he will watch it though, there are enough problems in his own country waiting for him to solve. As if he will care about us. Not for the time being at least. I appreciate and appluad Dr Chee for his bravery though. Get jailed so many times still stand firm on his ideals. Shan't comment too much though. My political stand is neutral FYI =D
Went to gym today to give my rusty arm muscles a good workout. Felt good to exercise again after slacking for too long. Guess that all, looking forward to cny celebration tomorrow as it will be the 1st time we will be celebrating it in the college section. bb

Release of O'lvl results yesterday...Compared to people who were receiving their full results, I was not that stressed. Just that the idea of having to study higher chinese in JC puts me off =X
Went to sch for the 1st time in 1+ months, sat in audi and caught up with my classmates whom I haven't seen for ages. Lol i must say 陈老师 seriously long winded. Going to give out the result slips liao then think of a new point and start talking again, while all of us were waiting nervously for our results and not bothering to listen.
When I saw my HCL results on the paper, i wasnt very happy though I got an A, hoped to do better as I really put in alot of effort reading chinese and practising. Some of you might say A1 A2 also the same as in A lvl cert they will only put A, but i think its about answering to myself la. End my formal learning of chinese with an A2 isn't exactly ideal IMO. Nvm, must 以平常心看待。
Went to watch Red Cliff 2 with weilong, hongrun, yitkhai, yisheng elffred and alfred. Felt that it was average only, maybe because I've forgotten most of what happened in the first movie. As usual the good guys live on happily ever after and the bad guys all die and lose the war, boring.
Its 2am now so I better get to sleep before my mum come in and start nagging =D

Hi guys.
Last friday I went to my brudder junyan's house for his birthday bbq. After getting the cakes from Swensens, me and weilong took mrt to bukit gombak to meet the rest. We spent the afternoon swimming and playing pool before the bbq started.

In the middle of the bbq some Korean boy came over to our pit with his scooter and just took a packet of drink from us. Not that we mind though. Some of us tried to talk to him but failed, with hilarious results.
Ice cream cakes from Swensens! We couldnt get them to make one big one on time so we bought 2 instead. Also good mah, can have 2 flavours.
Yup so thats all for the bbq, the rest of the pics are with the the restsam. I'll try to post once i get hold of them.
Yesterday I went to the newly opened sembawang shopping centre. Went into Comics Connection to take a look and guess what i found, a Rubik's magic!
Cool right, basically its a puzzle with 8 panels and you are supposed to connect the 3 rings together by manipulating the panels. 
Solved.

5 jan: Met up at Tanah Merah MRT and took the shuttle bus to NSRCC Bungalow. Basically the bungalow looks like this-
Ya quite nice but I didn't take this picture. Took it off NSRCC website as we didn even take any picture during the whole chalet...sad.
After checking in and housekeeping matters we went out for bowling/pool. The pool table is those kind where you put $2 in and they release the balls and after you finished a game you have to pay again in order to play. But with abit of "modifications" we were able to play more, lol.
After that we went to slack at the playground near our chalet and played some childish games. Dinner was at poolside cafe (not the one in our sch). The waiter talk with an obvious malaysian accent and pronounced fish and chips as "fis and chis". Then elffred meng imitate him, super bad lah.
While the rest were watching movie at night, I went out (dont like to watch horror movies)and saw some of them secretly playing mahjong at the back. Turns out they bought mac also but dont wan bring to chalet to eat coz scared everyone kope. Slept at around 3am after talking cock in bed and singing chinese pop songs with sam and alfred, lol. Somehow we are the very few left who know how to appreciate chinese pop songs.
6jan: woke up and went to swim with some of the others. Cycled all the way to changi village (11km away) for lunch. Didn't want to rent a bike as it was damn expensive ($5 per hour) so I shared one with zitao. Took turns riding while the other person sat in front. Cycling 12km with another guy in front is no easy feat, but we treated it as training (as if zitao's muscles not big enuff liao). Played mahjong at night with money, was losing initially but i recoup my losses and manage to earn a few dollars towards the end. Budden jonj the great eventually triumphed with his 2 ping hu, earning $11 bucks while i only earned 80cents eventually. The other 2 guys lost damn alot of money, lol. Spent the time before sleeping to talk cock with wenshan, chengxi, elffred and ben oh. Mostly niaoing jonj's weird lingos though.
7jan: rudely woken up by weilong who was screaming and jumping around trying to get everyone to wake up for checking out. Ate pizza hut for lunch and went home while some of us went to school to support our NCC orientation booth. Would have gone if not for the fact that I only had slippers and home clothes, confirm get zhammed by tancw if i dared to walk into sch.
Came home and took a long afternoon nap. Wanted to play dota with the usual ppl until i realised that 4O and 4M ppl are having class chalet so there is no LKH to host any dota and no yuxuan to pwn our asses. Don't really feel like playing without friends around, shall take this time to finish my nygh maths papers.
Looking forward to junyan's birthday bbq on 9 jan =) Till then!

Well, so many things happened within these few days...I shall start with the earliest, which is celebrating yitkhai's birthday and New Year's Day 2009 countdown.
So on 31st dec we were supposed to meet at vivo 11am to eat lunch but I had mine at home and by the time i finished they were already at dobby ghaut so I took MRT there. Played pool for awhile then went to aden's house. Played mahjong, blackjack (i won $2 from jonj banker=.=), monopoly, xbox etc...then celebrate yk's birthday with a cake and countdowned to 2009. Some of us slept overnight at his house while the rest went home.
Did half of nygh paper 1 with weilong at amk library. Felt accomplished. Suprising I can still remember some math stuff after not touching them for so long.
Next post after part chalet. Away from 5~7jan. bb
