Haven't posted since HCL exam over...mainly because I was too busy playing to bother, haha.
So after the exams I was kinda filled with mixed emotions. On one hand, I will never have to write those 作文 and 应用文 together within 2 hours which is a near-impossible task considering my extremely slow writing speed, yet on the other hand, I am afraid that my standard of chinese(which is nothing to boast about in the 1st place) will plummet after a long period of not coming into contact with it. Ultimately, I am still a chinese and I don't wish to turn into a "banana", yellow(chinese) outside but white(angmoh) inside. I'm proud of being a chinese, and chinese language will always be my mother tongue, so I guess I'll try my best to maintain my standard.
Went too watch "Quantum of solace" with classmates at plaza sing. Initially I was looking forward to the movie as the previous one, "Casino Royale" was nice, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The plot was predictable and after watching the whole movie we don't even know what does the "of solace" mean. Maybe they just want to put 2 words behind that has the letter "O" so they can 顺便 put the 007 inside. Like this:
Anyway after the movie 6 of us went to play LAN. Zhe Hou was so engrossed with playing that he didn't notice the man standing behind us pretending to watch us play was actually trying to steal his valuables. In the end when he wanted to pay he realised he lost his wallet. Then coincidentally there were 2 policemen standing outside so he went to report. As if got use, last time i lost my handphone so many times report le also nothing happened. Never mind la, I believe in karma, and that the thieves will pay for their crimes someday.
When we walked out of the place, Zhehou checked his bag for one last time and realised that his iPod was stolen also. Wa felt damn sorry for him, lose so many things in 1 day. Did I mention that he lost his ez-link card on the same day also?
Yesterday, junan, junkai and daryll and I went to CCSS appreciation ceremony as we did our SL project with them. Chatted with some of the other volunteers there and they were all very nice people. Played some games and ate buffet lunch. For the lucky draw thingy, me and junkai won a cordless kettle, junan won a radio/disc player while daryll won a shower radio, haha. Will post pics when i get them.
Yup, thats all. Back to playing.
